Description:

Chicken necks, especially dehydrated necks, provide a meaty and crunchy treat for your dog which greatly improves their dental health. They are also great for keeping your dog's joints healthy. Chicken necks contain glucosamine and chondroitin which are both linked to healthy joints.

Dehydration: Raw chicken butcher cut necks are dehydrated at 165 degrees Fahrenheit, for 22 hours. (Most companies dehydrate longer, leaving the organ meat dry and brittle, ours is done with perfect dehydration times.)

Frozen Raw to Dehydration to Delivery: All of my butcher cut and prepared foods are cut in small batches, then air-tight sealed and frozen immediately. In a sterilized kitchen working area: once I thaw out meat products, I immediately wash product thoroughly, pat dry, and place in the dehydrator. Once dehydrated, all meat product is inspected and then weighed out properly packaged with a desiccant pack to absorb any additional moisture. Then delivered to the buyer within 2 to 3 days of ordering.

🐔 Chicken Necks — Feeding Guidelines

  • Feed as an occasional treat or chew, not as a replacement for a complete and balanced diet.

  • Always supervise your dog while chewing.

  • Introduce gradually, especially if your dog has never had dehydrated chicken necks before.

  • Feed an amount appropriate for your dog's size, chewing habits, and overall diet.

  • Remove the treat if your dog attempts to swallow it whole or if it becomes small enough to present a choking risk.

  • Dogs that gulp treats rather than chew may not be appropriate candidates for bone-containing treats.

  • Provide fresh water.

  • If your dog has dental problems, digestive concerns, or difficulty chewing bones, consult your veterinarian first.
