At CRUSH LOVE DOG, we’re thrilled to dehydrate raw organ meats straight from the butcher shop! This is real food, prepared the right way—nutritious and bursting with flavor! What truly matters to us is the origin of these incredible treats, the passion made behind them, and the integrity that goes into the foods we offer along with the packaging that contains it. These aren’t just treats; they’re whole organ foods dehydrated for your beloved dog! But we don't buy the organs in a grocery store or large frozen chain, but we source them in our local butcher shop.. because quite honestly, once thawed the organ meat is in its own muscle protein juice. YEP!!

There is a huge difference in organ meats from your butcher shop, compared to the grocery store.

As we don’t buy our organs sitting in a grocery-store package. We source our fresh meats and organs directly from local butcher shops and independent U.S. farms, where they are butcher-cut and prepared fresh and then immediately frozen. Before we clean them and then dehydrate these rich foods for your dog.. here’s something you may notice when you thaw them… Yep… there can be RED LIQUID in the package!

Don’t panic. It's not blood, but muscle protein called ❤️ myoglobin, a natural protein found in muscle tissue that helps carry oxygen. It’s not the same as blood, although some residual blood can also be present in freshly butchered organ meats. And THAT is one of the reasons we choose fresh, butcher-cut organs. There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between a real whole food and something that has been sitting around heavily processed, packaged, or loaded with mystery ingredients. Or over-washed and then packaged to be found in a local grocery store.

It then turned into a business, because my friends wanted what I was making!
